Tatiana Verissimo was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1984. She graduated in 2011 from University State Paulista “Julio de Mesquista Filho” (UNESP) in Araraquara-SP. She started her PhD studies at the Universty of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil in 2012. She is a member of the Laboratory of Interfaces and Photoinduced Processes under the supervision Professor Mauricio Baptista. Her thesis is about nanoparticles and its relationship with autophagy. Tatiana joined to Scaiano’s group in June 2015 where she will stay for one year to synthesize niobium nanoparticles for biological applications.
In her free time, she likes to meet her friends, play with her pet and talk about sports, especially soccer. Her favorite team is Corinthians.
