Juliano A. Bonacin
Juliano A. Bonacin obtained his B.Sc. degree from the State University of Maringá (UEM) in 2002. He then undertook graduate studies in inorganic chemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he concluded his Ph.D. in 2007. He was an assistant professor at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) in 2007 and he initiated studies on the chemistry of nanoparticles during his postdoctoral period (2007–2009) at the University of São Paulo (USP). At the same time, he founded a company to provide smart products and innovation in the nanotechnology area to companies. In 2012, he sold the technology developed and took a new step in his career as a professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Currently, he is a coordinator of the Nanotechnology Molecular Laboratory / UNICAMP and he is interested in the studies of hybrid systems formed by coordination compounds and metallic nanoparticles.
